1. I was born and lived in Ukraine until the age of 14, when my family and I moved to the United States, where I have been residing ever since.


2. I like to smell new books. Sometimes I smell old books too. They often have a very characteristic smell...


3. I've started many-many more things than I've finished. I blame it on the stars and astrology, even though I don't really believe in that most of the time.


4. If I ever offer to tell you a joke, leave everything behind and save yourself! I'm the worst joke- and story-teller that I know of :)


5. I spend a LOT of time making trivial decisions like which brand of "Creme of Mushroom" to buy, then go out and buy something like a Mac Mini after barely any thought.


6. I think I'm a pack rat. At least it's very hard for me to throw/give away things that might be useful in the future.


7. I'm completely and utterly in love with wrymuse and can't live without her.


8. I put most receipts in my wallet, even if I only bought a gallon of milk. Wrymuse must often intervene and clean my wallet when it gets too puffy.


9. I watch more TV than I would like to admit to others or myself.


10. I do not and have never owned a suit, but would like one.


11. Unless you know what you're doing, don't ever take me to a library or a bookstore. I will stay there for hours and then buy/borrow more books than I can carry by myself. Well, that's a slight exaggeration, but just ask wrymuse!


12. I've spent many hours practicing my calligraphy and I will spend many more. When I get a new pen, I have a tendency to hold a written conversation with it to see how well it writes :)


13. Sometimes I tell myself and others I like certain things that in my mind elevate me above others. I think I've actually grown to truly like some of those things.


14. Despite multiple attempts, I still can't sleep very well in my boxers and prefer to sleep in the nude whenever possible.


15. I have an older brother with whom I always fought until I reached the age of 16 or so. We're not the greatest buddies, but we haven't had an argument in ages.


16. I adopt certain habits and do certain things just to be different.


17. I have more clothes and change more often than my girlfriend; is that a crime?!


18. I'm the worst procrastinator I've ever known.


19. I'm often fascinated by patterns, sometimes in places where others would not expect. Have I shown you my picture of dried-out sauce in a bowl?


20. I have been stuttering ever since I was five. It looks like it's either completely or mostly psychological, so I'm quite sure I can finally work it out. Now to convince myself I actually want to...
